Davof is an Amsterdam based company specialized in procurement and logistics of feed, food and non-food with a strong link to West-Africa. Its enthusiastic and experienced team – well versed to cope with the challenges of the trade – ensures a smooth and efficient performance.
History
The present management started its career in the mid eighties with Koninklijke G. de Vries & Zonen, an Amsterdam based trading house which was established in 1775. In 1989 the management started an animal feed department within Daarnhouwer & Co’s Handelmaatschappij b.v. which company has a long lasting history in trade of commodities like coffee and cocoa. Through a 100% management buy-out the animal feed department became a fully independent company operating under the name Davof Trading (Africa). In the same year Davof Handelmaatschappij was established for sourcing and distribution of both food and non-food products.
Recently Shoreline-Davof b.v., a joint-venture with our Nigerian partners, has been established. The joint venture strengthens the existing cooperation and provides a platform for the benefit of all stakeholders.

Shoreline-Davof b.v. is a joint-venture between Shoreline Energy International Ltd based in London&Lagos and Davof Handelmaatschappij based in Amsterdam.
