The variety of food materials harvested in West-Africa is immense. It ranges from coffee and cocoa, from sesame seeds to chilli peppers, from hibiscus flowers to ginger.
Davof Handelmaatschappij concentrates on niche products rather than on coffee and cocoa. The dry food ingredients are purchased directly from well-known cooperatives and producers in the Sub- Saharan region and are mainly sold to the spice and confectionary industry in Asia and Europe.
Our suppliers add value to the harvested products through various processes like sorting, cleaning, drying and re-bagging. Packing and labelling can be arranged asper our customers’ requests. Traceability and haccp procedures are key elements in the marketing of the dried food ingredients.
